The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University has finally released all the important dates related to Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE 2019). As per the details available on the official website, amrita.edu. the entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 22-26, 2019 for Computer-based test and April 27, 2019, for Pen-paper based test.
The Online Registration for AEEE 2019 will begin from October 19, 2018. It is advised to the aspirants to check the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam before they proceed to apply for it. The Admissions to B.Tech programmes of 2019 batch, offered at Amrita School of Engineering – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore campuses is based on the rank secured in AEEE 2019 and JEE Mains 2019 (January & April Session).

The last date to submit the AEEE 2019 Application Form for CBT is April 10, 2019, whereas, for PBT, the last date for form submission is April 25, 2019.
As per the information provided on the University’s official website, “Application submission is fully online and shall be submitted via the website amrita.edu/btech”. The candidates can apply for admission in Amrita University through AEEE/ JEE Main.
In the AEEE 2019 Application Form, the students need to provide their Personal Details, Educational Qualification Details, etc. To submit the application form, the students need to pay an amount of Rs. 1000 for candidates seeking admission through Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2019 and Rs. 300 for candidates seeking admission based on the rank scored in JEE Mains. However, those who wish to seek admission through both the modes, need to pay an amount of Rs. 1000.
Once the application process is over, the candidates who choose the Computer0based test will have to complete the slot booking process. The Commencement of slot booking for CBT is from April 5, 2019, and the window for online slot booking will close on April 10, 2019. Those who will successfully book a slot, i.e. test date, time and test center will be issued the admit card for AEEE 2019.
AEEE 2019 will be a 300 marks paper, containing 100 questions that need to be attempted in a duration of two and a half hours in order to pursue an engineering discipline from any of the Amrita University campuses. The questions will be asked from Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section. It will be an objective type paper, which has a negative marking scheme of 1 marks applicable to it.
