Coal India Limited has published notification for recruitment to management trainee position with 1326 vacancies. CIL will make the online registration of applications available at 10 am on December 21, 2019. From that date to January 19, 2020, 11 pm, a total of 29 days, the online submission of applications will remain available at coalindia.in.
There are 288 vacancies in mining discipline, 218 in electrical, 258 in mechanical, 68 in civil, 28 in coal preparation, 46 in systems, 28 in materials management, 254 in finance and accounts, 89 in personnel and HR, 23 in marketing and sales, and 26 in community development.
Category wise the vacancies division is such that there are 485 vacancies for general category, 132 for EWS, 206 for SC, 142 for ST, and 361 for OBC.
For mining, electrical, mechanical, and civil, candidates who hold BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg in relevant engineering branch with at least 60% can apply. Coal preparation is open for BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg in chemical or mineral engineering holders. Likewise systems discipline is for BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg degree holders in computer science computer engineering, IT or MCA with 60%.
Engineering degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 2 years full time MBA or PG Diploma in management with 60% marks having candidates can apply for materials management.
CA and ICWA can apply for finance and accounts. Graduate candidates with at least 2 years PG degree or PG diploma or PGP in Management with specialization in HR / industrial relations / personnel management or MHROD or MBA or MSW with specialization in HR major, with 60% marks can apply for the vacancies in personnel and HR department.
Any graduate with 2 years full time MBA / PGDM with specialization in marketing (major) with 60% can apply for marketing and sales.
Community development is open for any of the two types of candidates. First are those with 2-years full time PG degree or PG Diploma in community development / rural development / community organization and development practice / urban and rural community development / rural and tribal development / development management / rural management with 60% marks. The second type are the candidates with minimum 2 years full time PG degree in social work with specialization in community development / rural development / community organization and development practice / urban and rural community development / rural and tribal development / development management with 60% marks.
CIL will conduct a computer based online test for the purpose of shortlisting from among the applicants. The test will be held on February 27 and 28, 2020. Qualifying marks in the test will be 40% for general and EWS, 35% for OBC, and 30% for SC, ST, PWD.
Coal India Limited will shortlist candidates for interview process, in the ratio of 1:3 from among those who appear in the test. Interview will be of 10 marks.
Applicants should be at max 30 years old as on April 1, 2020. OBC candidates will get a relaxation of 3 years, SC/ST will get for 5 years.
Management trainees in CIL will be placed in E2 grade in the scale of pay Rs 50,000 – Rs 1,60,000 at the initial basic of Rs 50,000 per month during the training period. After completion of 1 year of training, and passing the test, candidates will be placed in E-3 grade in the scale of pay of Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,80,000.
