Result of CMAT 2018 is awaited by more than 60,000 candidates who appeared for the exam on January 20, 2018. Initially CMAT result 2018 was supposed to be announced on February 13 but was postponed to February 15, 5 PM. Then at 5 PM, the CMAT 2018 official website changed result timing to 6.30 PM. With a little while to go, MBA aspirants are counting away the long minutes.
CMAT result 2018 shall be used for admission to several AICTE approved B-schools. The most sought after colleges where toppers of CMAT usually go are JBIMS and KJ Somaiya. It is tough to get admission in these as their CMAT cut offs go really high every year.
CMAT is perhaps one of the few MBA entrance exams where complete merit list is published for all to view. CMAT merit list 2018 will be a PDF file containing names and roll numbers of all test takers with marks they obtained and rank. AICTE compiles merit list on basis of marks obtained by candidate in exam.
Percentile rank, as well as actual rank, will be published in CMAT results at aicte-cmat.in. Sometimes more than one candidate get 100 percentile. Last year there were two 100 percentiles and around 240 were 99 percentilers.

Until a few years ago, CMAT was held two times in a year. From 2016-17 session, AICTE decided to hold it only once. Now MAT or Management Aptitude Test conducted by AIMA remains singular MBA entrance exam that takes place more than once.
