The last update provided by NTA on CMAT 2021 was that CMAT 2021 is likely to be in the last week of March-2021 or early April-2021. The new date for the CMAT-2021 examination will be intimated soon on the website of NTA. However, no dates for the exam has been declared by the National Testing Agency so far. On the top of this, CMAT 2021 registration which was reopened for the exam on February 12, 2021, will be ending today, March 01, 2021. Fees can be submitted till March 2, 2021.
Earlier official website of NTA, nta.ac.in, showed the exam date of CMAT 2021 to be May 08, 2021. But this date has been changed on the website. Now the website reads that the exam date as, “to be decided later”. Previously, the CMAT 2021 exam was to be held on February 22 / 27, 2021. Therefore, the CMAT 2021 exam date still remains undecided.

The schedule of CMAT 2021 has been revised as AICTE has proposed a change in the examination pattern. The new pattern will now have an additional (optional) section for the candidates interested in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The new section will be called Innovation & Entrepreneurship and it will have 25 questions. The time limit of the exam is thus extended by 30 minutes.
Candidates who had applied earlier for CMAT 2021 can opt for this course by editing their application form during the correction window which will be made available after the closure of the new fresh registration. The candidates who have not registered for CMAT 2021, can also register as fresh candidates until today.
As per the old pattern, CMAT had these sections: Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. The total marks of the paper was 400 and the total number of question in the exam was 100. Each section carried 25 questions. Now, with the addition of the new section, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the total marks of the paper will be 500 and the total number of MCQs will be 125. The duration of the exam will be now 3 hours and 30 minutes, for the candidates interested in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship course.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by NTA since 2019. Before that, it was held by AICTE, for admission to AICTE approved MBA / PGDM colleges in India.
