Though the exam date and details were out, now the exam stands postponed until further notice. As per the official notice available at, cmat.nta.nic.in, CMAT 2021 is likely to be in the last week of March-2021 or early April-2021. The new date for CMAT-2021 Examination will be intimated soon on the website of NTA.
However, if we take a look on the official website of NTA, nta.ac.in, then under the active examination section the CMAT 2021 new dates are available. As per it, CMAT 2021 will be held on May 08, 2021, and the admit card will be issued on April 21, 2021. It also states that the result will be out on July 22, 2021.

CMAT 2021 dates as per the last official notice by NTA:

Now the question is, are these dates the final ones? It has been seen that, under the active examination section of nta.ac.in, the dates are subjected to change. For instance, as per the dates in nat.ac.in, the JEE Main 2021 admit card was to be issued on February 14, 2021, but the admit cards were released on February 11, 2021.
Therefore, the exam dates cannot be considered the final ones unless an official notice for it is issued by NTA. Previously, the CMAT 2021 exam was to be held on February 22 / 27, 2021.
Apart from this, the registrations for CMAT 2021 have been also reopened. The registrations and submission of forms with fees were closed on February 6, 2021. However, it has been reopened again on February 12, 2021, and now the last date to apply is March 01, 2021. Fees can be submitted till March 2, 2021.
The change in the schedule of CMAT 2021 has been done as per the recommendation of AICTE. AICTE has now proposed a change in the examination pattern. The new pattern will now have an additional (optional) section for the candidates interested in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The new section will be called Innovation & Entrepreneurship and it will have 25 questions. The time limit of the exam is thus extended by 30 minutes.
As per the old pattern, CMAT had these sections: Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. The total marks of the paper was 400 and the total number of question in the exam was 100. Each section carried 25 questions. Now, with the addition of the new section, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the total marks of the paper will be 500 and the total number of MCQs will be 125. The duration of the exam will be now 3 hours and 30 minutes, for the candidates interested in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship course.
Candidates who had applied earlier can opt for this course by editing their application form during the correction window which will be made available after the closure of the new fresh registration. The candidates who have not registered for CMAT 2021, can also register as fresh candidates in this period.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by NTA since 2019. Before that, it was held by AICTE, for admission to AICTE approved MBA / PGDM colleges in India.
