The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) will announce the Result for June 2018 Term of examination. The result will be available for check today, i.e. August 23, 2018, by afternoon. The candidates who appeared in June 2018 Term Exam can check their result online at examicmai.in or examicmai.org.examicmai.in or examicmai.org.
To check the result for ICMAI CMA June 2018, the candidates need to visit the official website. Then, the candidates need to enter details such as Identification Number/ Registration Number. Submit the login details and the result will be available on the screen. After checking the result, the candidates should take a print out of their e-marksheet for future reference.
Along with the Result, the exam conducting body will also publish the rank list. It will be available in pdf format and will consist of details about top 50 candidates such as their Rank, syllabus, registration number, roll number, etc.
Only those will be declared as qualified if they will obtain the minimum pass percentage in the examination. A candidate needs to obtain at least 40% marks in each paper of the group and at least 50% marks in the non-exempted papers of the group.
Also, ICMAI will publish the pass percentage for CMA Inter, Foundation and Final. The pass percentage is the percentage of the candidates who qualify the CMA June Examination.
For CMA Inter-Dec 2017, the pass percentage was 9.09%, whereas, for the CMA Final Dec 2017, the pass percentage was 12.71%.
The previous year, in CMA Inter, about 2706 number of students passed in Group 1, in Group 2, about 238 candidates qualified the examination. For CMA Final Group 3, about 371 number of students passed, 1257 candidates, qualified the CMA Final Group 4.
ICMAI is the Institute of Cost Accountants of India which was previously known as the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (ICWAI). It is the only licensing cum regulating body of Cost & Management Accountancy profession in India. A student has to pass three levels of the examination (Foundation, Intermediate, Final) and complete three years of practical training to be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Institute. The members of the ICMAI carry the designation ACMA (Associate Cost and Management Accountant) and FCMA (Fellow Cost and Management Accountant), as applicable based on their type of membership of the institute.
