CNLU on behalf of all participating National Law Universities had held the Common Law Admission Test on 14 May 2017. CLAT 2017 witnessed around 50,000 test takers.
Just 2 days after exam, answer keys have been released online. What is equally important is that along with the answer key, candidate is able to see recorded responses, whether answer was correct or wrong, and total marks obtained. In short, CLAT 2017 Score has been released on 16 May 2017. Anyone who appeared in the exam can check CLAT 2017 marks.
With CLAT 2017 marks available, it is feasible to predict ranks. There are various CLAT rank predictor tools available online. Education experts who have observed NLU admissions over the years can say that a score above 120 is usually considered good to get admission to the top NLUs. It can also be said that a score above 100 in CLAT 2017 will be enough to get admission in a National Law University that makes up top half of a NLU ranking list.
The best way to get an idea of which NLU you can get, now that you know CLAT 2017 Score, would be to check CLAT cut offs. CLAT Cut Off 2016, 2015 are available online. For the year 2016 it is presented as per rank. However for 2015 cut offs are given score wise. By taking one look at the cut offs of NLUs as per score, you can know what are the chances of admission in any good National Law University.
Will cut offs be high in 2017?
Some students have lamentably admitted that they felt CLAT 2017 question paper was easier than last time. Perhaps then the cut off could be higher. Education experts are not sure on this as of now. They say that CLAT 2015 was really tough. CLAT 2016 and 2017 were almost alike in terms of difficulty.
