CISF Notification 2019 Released For Head Constable Recruitment, With 300 Vacancies

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has published notification for 300 vacancies of Head Constable (General Duty). Here are the details.

CISF Notification 2019

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) invites applications in offline mode from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment of sportsmen and women in CISF against sports quota against 300 vacancies.

Last date for receipt of application form is December 17, 2019 (5 pm). From north east regions, applications will be accepted until December 24, 2019 with requisite attested photo copies of certificates. 

Male and female candidates can apply for head constable (general duty) that is HC (GD) post in the force against sports quota. The sports disciplines or specialties against which there are vacancies in this recruitment are athletics, boxing,basketball, gymnastics, football, hockey, handball, judo, kabaddi, shooting, swimming, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling, taekwondo.

Pay scale for head constable GD position shall be in pay matrix level 4 that is Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100 plus allowances. Moreover the selected candidates will come under the new restructured defined contribution pension scheme of national pension system. 

Class 12th pass candidates are eligible to apply in response to this CISF notification 2019. Given that they have credit of representing in state, or national, or international in games, sports, athletics. 

Hillmen and tribesmen that is Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Dogras, Marathas, Adivasis men should be at least 160 cms tall and have chest 81-86 cms, their women should be at least 153 cms tall. All other candidates who are men should be at least 167 cms tall, chest requirement is again 81-86 cms, and all women need to be at least 153 cms tall. 

CISF will put applicants through a four step selection process. The first step will be trial test in sports events wherein candidates shall go through a trial test in the sport to which he or she belongs. Second will be proficiency test of 40 marks, in which the minimum cut off marks will be 20 marks. Those with meritorious certificate or achievement in sports event will get extra 10 marks. The third step will be final selection, as per merit in proficiency test and achievement or performance during the last edition. Fourth and last step is medical exam. 

The notification adds “Only those meritorious sportsmen/sportswomen who fulfilling the above eligibility criteria and have participated in the championships during the last edition of any Tournament / Competition/ Games (as applicable) held on or after 16.11.2017, will be eligible for applying the post. However, it has to be necessarily the last edition of tournament / competition/games. ”

How to apply for CISF notification 2019?

CISF has discontinued online application forms. All candidates are required to get the notification cum application form from cisfrectt.in. The same needs to be then printed and filled. It has to be sent with Rs 100 application fee in the form of postal order or demand draft. SC, ST, female candidates are exempt from fee. 

The notification is printed as DAVP 19113/11/0004/1920 in print as well, in leading dailies.
