How the 2027 table looks for India
The rise came in a year when most Indian universities slipped. QS ranked 325 Indian universities this year, and 71% of those returning fell in the table, according to reports of QS’s figures. All six of India’s highest-ranked institutions dropped, with IIT Delhi moving from 59th to 66th. QS attributed the falls mainly to tougher competition.
