Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education is holding the Class 12 Board exams in the test from the home model this year owing to the pandemic situation in India. The Class 12 board exams, starting on June 01, 2021, will be taken by more than 2 lakh students who have registered for the exam this year.
A private website CGBSE Support, available through the url cgbsesupport.in is stealing the limelight as the Board launches the Class 12 exams. The website provides significant educational aid to board exam candidates in Chhattisgarh in the form of assignment support, answers, solutions etc. As per reports, board exam students in the state are inclined toward getting the Class 12 board exam question paper and answers from the private website.
As the Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board is conducting the CGBSE Class 12 board exams in the test from home mode, therefore, candidates are reportedly getting 5 days of time to submit their answer sheet. As per latest reports, CGBSE Class 12 board exam candidates have to visit the designated exam centre for collection of the Class 12 board exam question paper. Once the question paper has been collected, candidates are given five day’s time to solve the paper and submit it. The question paper and answer sheets have to be collected by June 05, 2021 as per latest reports.
The Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board has released a complete set of guidelines and instructions for taking the Class 12 board exams this year. As per reports, candidates have to physically visit the exam centres for the collection of the question paper and answer sheets for the CGBSE Class 12 board exams 2021. Failing this, candidates will be marked as absent in the exam. However, the Board is allowing candidates to write their papers from the comfort of their homes and submit it within a period of 5 days. Although the decision has been taken to eliminate the need of gathering students in a physical exam centre, the fact that students have to physically collect the question paper and answer sheet from the centre is no less risky during the pandemic situation.
Class 12 board exam students are therefore eyeing the CGBSE Support website, which features new syllabus, topper answer sheets, previous year papers, assignments, important questions etc. It is not clear as to why the CGBSE did not adopt a virtual platform for dispatching and collecting question papers and answer sheets on a virtual platform. But the CGBSE Support seems to be a viable platform which could have enabled the Board to conduct exams without the need for any student to visit the exam centres physically during the pandemic.
At present, Board exam students have to download their admit card from the website and collect the question paper & answer sheet from the official website. Furthermore, they have to submit the answer sheet after taking the test by visiting the exam centre physically. Parents of COVID-19 positive students are allowed to collect and submit the question papers and answer sheets on their behalf.
