Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has announced the CGBSE Class 10 and 12 Result 2019 today, on May 10, 2019, at 1:00 pm. Unlike previous years, the result is declared on the official website- cgbse.nic.in. In order to check the result, candidates have to log in using their roll number and the captcha number provided.
Nisha Patel of class 10th has topped the exams by scoring 93.33% and Yogendra Verma of class 12th has topped the exams by scoring 97.40%. Congratulations to both of them.
Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website. After visiting the official website, you have to click on the “CGBSE 10th Result 2019” or “CGBSE 12th Result 2019” in order to check the result. Once you will click on the link, a login window will appear. On that login window, the candidates have to fill in their login details such as roll number and captcha number as given on the page. After filling the details, you have to click on the “Submit” button. Once the details are successfully submitted, your result will appear on the screen. You can check and download it for future purpose.
Note: The candidates should make sure to keep their admit card along with them before checking the result to avoid any delay in the process.
The Chhattisgarh board conducted a class 10 examination from March 01 to March 23, 2019. However, the class 12 examination took place from March 02 to March 29, 2019. Moreover, the result for both the class is declared together today. This year, over 6.5 lakhs candidates appeared for CGBSE examination. Out of these students, around 3.8 lakh candidates appeared for class 10 examination and around 2.6 lakh candidates appeared for class 12 examination.
Since the CGBSE results are out, the qualified candidates will move one step ahead towards the higher level of education. Class 10 students will have to select a stream out of Arts, Commerce, and Science which they want to pursue in class 11 and 12. However, class 12 qualified candidates will go for further admission process in various courses and colleges. Hence, the candidates who will not be able to qualify the class 10, 12 examinations can appear for the compartment examination. The board provides a second chance to its candidate to qualify the exam again.
Since the results are now out, the board will start with the process of revaluation and rechecking. Any candidate having a doubt related to the marks they have scored can apply for either revaluation or rechecking. The revaluation or rechecking process will start after one day of result declaration and will continue for 15 days. However, the application form for these processes will be available online only. Along with the application form, the candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500 per subject for revaluation and Rs. 100 per question for rechecking.
