CGVYAPAM hereby notifies CG SET 2019, the Chhattisgarh State Eligibility Test. The exam is scheduled to be held on September 8. Paper I will be held from 10 am to 11 am, and paper II shall take place from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Online applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates at cgvyapam.choice.gov.in until August 13. On the last date, form will close at 11:59 pm. Registration fee for general candidates is Rs 350, for OBC it is Rs 250, for SC / ST / PWD / transgender it is Rs 200. Fee can be paid in online modes via debit card, credit card, internet banking.
The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board shall hold the state level exam in five cities namely Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Durg, Jagdalpur and Raipur. It will be held for 19 subjects namely: Hindi, English, Political science, Economics, Sociology, History, Geography, Physical sciences, Mathematical sciences, Chemical sciences, Life sciences, Computer science and applications, Commerce, Law, Sanskrit, Psychology, Library and Information science, Physical education, Home science.
Chattisgarh Professional Examination Board, CG Vyapam has released the notification for conducting the State Eligibility Test (CG SET 2019) exam for the purpose of determining eligibility for lecturers for Chattisgarh colleges. CG SET exam will be conducted in 5 cities of Chattisgarh namely Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Durg, Jagdalpur and Raipur. Interested and eligible candidates can apply before the last date August 13, 2019 (Tuesday) from the website cgvyapam.choice.gov.in.
To be eligible for appearing in CG SET 2019, candidate must have obtained at least 55% marks, or 50% in case of SC / ST / OBC / PWD, in Masters degree. For all candidates, paper I and II will be compulsory.
CG SET examination will have two papers Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be held for 1 hour of 100 marks for 50 questions, whereas, Paper II will be held for 2 hours of 200 marks for 100 questions. No negative marking shall apply for any incorrect answer. Top 6% of the qualifying candidates who secure a minimum of 40% marks in both the papers (35% marks belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD and transgender) will be qualified as being eligible for Assistant Professor.

First, the candidate will be asked whether they are a domicile of Chattisgarh or not. Then, they need to provide basic details in the form such as their name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category, height and weight.
After that they need to upload scanned photograph size of ( 3.5 cm x 4.5) cm in JPEG format, along with their scanned signature and a thumb impression with a size of ( 40 to 50 kb). Then, the candidates have to submit their educational qualification, preferred exam city and confirm to declare the same.
After submitting all the details, the candidates need to complete the registration process by submitting the fees. Then, they will receive their unique registration id. It is advised for the candidates to take out a print of the application form for future references.
