Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) has started with its CG PAT 2019 Application process. Candidates who are interested to pursue agriculture and horticulture related courses in Indira Gandhi Agricultural University can apply at cgvyapam.choice.gov.in. The last date to submit online CG PAT 2019 applications is April 21, 2019. Along with starting its CG PAT 2019 Application process, the authorities have also released detailed information regarding this year’s exam.
Previously, the CPEB had announced the exam date of CG PAT 2019 as May 30, 2019 across its 27 districts. CG PAT 2019 is scheduled to be conducted across cities like – Ambikapur, Mahasamund,Baikunthpur, Raigarh, Bilaspur, Raipur, Dantewada, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Bijapur, Durg, Narayanpur, Jagdalpur, Gariyaband, Janjgir Champa, Baloda Bazar, Jashpur Nagar, Balod, Kanker, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Mungeli, Korba, Kondagaon, Surajpur, Balrampur and Sukma.
In order to apply for CG PAT 2019, a candidate ought to be an Indian national and should be a domicile holder of Chhattisgarh. Other than these 2 criteria, a candidate needs to even fulfil the prescribed lower age limit (that of 16 years as on August 31, 2019) and having passed Class 12 with core subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences/ Agricultural Science and Agricultural Mathematics/ Crop Production and Horticulture from any recognised Board.
Over the CG PAT 2019 Application portal, a candidate needs to complete the following steps in the sequence provided – online registration, application form filling, choosing exam centre, signing the declaration, uploading photograph and signature and paying off the application fee. To make the payment of the CG PAT 2019 Application fee of Rs. 200 (for General category candidate), Rs.150 (for OBC category candidate) and Rs. 100 (for SC/ST/PwD category candidates), a candidate needs to either select “Pay through ICICI Bank / HDFC Bank” or “Pay through State Bank Of India” option.
After completing each CG PAT 2019 Application step, a candidate can check the application status by logging in with their Registration Id and date of birth. All the applicants are advised to check their application status, to know whether the application has been rejected or not. Furthermore, on the basis of the details provided on CG PAT 2019 Application form, a candidate is issued an admit card for the exam.
CG PAT is a state level exam conducted for providing admission across 27 colleges and to be precise, to fill 1259 seats for B.Sc. (Agriculture) that is offered by a total number of 21 colleges, while 6 colleges offer 272 seats for B.Sc. (Horticulture). Further these seats are reserved for SC/OBC/ST, Female and PWD category candidates.
