Department of Fisheries, Government of Chhattisgarh is inviting application forms in offline mode for recruitment 2019 to the post of fisheries inspector. Interested and eligible candidates can apply against a total of 30 vacancies till December 26, 2019.
Agriculture Development and Farmer Welfare and Bio-technology department is the main department under which various departments work, and one of them is the Department of Fisheries whose recruitment is ongoing for the post of inspector.
Fishery department requires, that to be eligible for the post of the fishery inspector, one must have graduation, done in biology or one has done the BFSc fishery course. Moreover, as per the recruitment norms, one must also adhere to the age restriction prescribed by the department. The minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years and maximum age to be 35 years to apply.

Adhering to the eligibility criteria one can avail the offline form available at the website of the department. Check from here, how one can download the offline application form. The first thing one has to do is to visit the official website which is agriportal.cg.nic.in. On the home page of the web portal, one can see the various logos of different department. Select the 4th logo, the logo of fisheries department. Soon after the click, a new website opens; website of “department of fisheries”. Under the new event section, one can find an advertisement for ongoing recruitment. Select the link, open it and download the application form attached to it.
As per the recruitment notification, candidates have to fill the form in the prescribed format and send the fully filled form to “ The Directorate of Fisheries, Indravati Bhawan, 4th Floor, b Block, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, Chhattisgarh”. The form will only be accepted till 5:00 PM of December 26, 2019.
For fisheries inspector, candidates will be called for the interview after scrutinizing the applications received within the time limit. This will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the prescribed educational qualification. The selection procedure guidelines say no extra marks will be given on higher educational qualification than the prescribed qualification. The total selection procedure is of 100 marks out of which 90 marks are given to the educational qualification and 10% percentage i.e 10 marks are for the interview.
On achieving the same marks by the two candidates, the recruitment board takes into consideration the date of birth of the candidate to prepare the merit list. Person older in age will be given a higher preference.
