Central Coalfields Limited has issued a latest recruitment notification to fill up 482 job openings at the website centralcoalfields.in. CCL is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up the vacancies for advertised trades of apprentice through NAPS portal. Online application process has already commenced and eligible candidates can apply online till the last date. The last date of receipt of applications is February 21, 2021. CCL is going to select eligible applicants on the basis of merit to fill up the vacancies. The vacancies advertised by the Central Coalfields Limited are available in thirteen different trades. As per the notification, the vacancies are available for the trades of Mechanic (Earth moving Machinery), Welder (Gas & Electric), Wireman, Switch Board Attendant, Surveyor, Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Medical Laboratory technician (Pathology), Medical Laboratory technician (Radiology), Medical Laboratory Technician (Cardiology), Multimedia & Webpage Designer, IT & Electronic system maintenance, Shot firer/Blaster (Mine) and Mechanic Motor vehicles.
Selected candidates are to be engaged into stipended apprenticeship training in the designated trades for specified training duration as indicated against individual trades separately. The duration of the training period ranges from a minimum of 15 months to a maximum of 24 months depending on the trade.
Applicants must ensure that they fulfil the minimum educational qualifications and age restrictions before applying for the recruitment. Trade-wise requirement of minimum educational qualification is indicated in the CCL Apprentice Recruitment 2021 official notification.
As per the notification, candidates who have passed Class 10th or Class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology are eligible to apply. The combination of subjects in the qualifying exam depends upon the trade selected. In addition, an applicant must be at least 18 years old as on January 01, 2021 in order to apply. The upper age limit is fixed at 21 years as on the date of reckoning in order to apply for this recruitment. However, candidates belonging to special reserved categories can avail relaxations on the upper age limit as per government norms in vogue.
