National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) has announced CCC Result August 2018 on September 12, 2018. Candidates can check it at result page of student.nielit.gov.in. Those who get 50% marks at least are declared as qualified. CCC certificates are issued to successful candidates by NIELIT.
Steps for checking NIELIT CCC Result is simple and candidate friendly. All one has to do is visit result check page, and check result by name or roll number or application number. Candidates have to enter either name or roll number or application number, along with date of birth. They must select year 2018 from first drop down and exam name as August 2018 from second drop down.
Check result here. Result of Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) displays grades. F means fail (< 50%). Those who have passed get D (50 – 54%), C (55 – 64%), B (65 – 74%), A (75 – 84%), S (over 85%).
Issuance of CCC certificates is done at nielit.gov.in/certificate/. Candidates who have passed can download it from there. E-certificate is digitally signed. Sometimes candidates complain of seeing a question mark and signature not verified. This happens when digital signature associated with PDF file has not been verified on computer which candidate is using to access certificate, so to get rid of this problem, candidate needs to verify digital signatures on computer system.
Steps to validate digital signature are simple. First right click on query mark in digitally signed certificate. Chose validate signature option. Then choose signature properties. Click on signature certrificate then. After that go to trust tab. Then click add to trusted certificates. Go to edit menu and choose preferences. When pop up window opens choose trust message. Now go to automatic adobe approved trusted certificate updates and click update now button. Now once more go to automatics European union approved trusted certificate updates and click update now button.
Candidates who could not qualify, or fresh candidates, can register for upcoming CCC exams at official website. Examination fee is Rs 500. NIELIT conducts exam from first Saturday of every month.
CCC course aims at empowering individuals in using computers for professional and day to day use. In it, candidates learn theoretical background as well as in-depth details of software and packages. This helps them in getting confidence in using computer techniques, understand computers, create documents using word processor / spreadsheet / presentation, understand about networks and use internet. Course duration is 80 hours.
Eight chapters are taught in CCC course, namely introduction to computer, introduction to gui based operating system, elements of word processing, spreadsheets, introduction to internet www and web browsers, communication and collaboration, application of presentations, application of digital financial services.
NIELIT was formerly DOEACC society. It imparts training for information technology at various levels. A few other exams that it conducts are O level, A level, B level, C level for information technology. Then there are Basic Computer Course (BCC), Course on Computer Concepts (CCC), CCC Plus, ECC for IT literacy. Also there are MAT-O level for multimedia and animation technology. Apart from them also there are short term courses NSQF aligned and dilital literacy course ACC.
