Last evening Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released CTET 2019 July notification at ctet.nic.in, to conduct the this year’s July Central Teacher Eligibility Test on July 07, 2019. The application form for CTET has been opened today i.e. February 05, 2019 itself. The candidates can fill the application form until March 05, 2019 by 03:30 PM. CBSE is inviting online application form on official website of CTET, from the candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by CBSE.
CTET is going to be conducted in 97 cities for 20 languages. CTET has two papers I, II. The paper I indicates the primary level the candidates who want to teach students of class 1 to 5 can appear for the paper I. Similarly Paper II of CTET indicates the Upper primary level, the candidates who want to be the teacher of class 6 to 8 can appear for paper II. However, appearing in any one paper or both paper is entirely dependent on the candidates choice. The application fee for each paper is distinct.
The candidate should note that CBSE has not restricted upper age limit in CTET, However candidates have to satistfy other eligibiLty norms.
CBSE has defined Rs. 700/- is for General and OBC category candidates for applying one paper, whereas for both papers candidates have to pay Rs. 1200/-. In case the candidate is belonging to SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person category he/she has to pay Rs. 350/- for applying in one paper, and for both paper, need to Rs. 600/-. For fee submission online and offline, both modes are open. By doing online payment candidates can use Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking. If the candidate chooses the offline submission of fee, then he/she can either pay through Canara bank e-challan or Syndicate bank e-challan.
CBSE is also providing the chance to make corrections in the application form. All the registered candidates will be able to correct their application form from March 14 to 20, 2019. The candidates have to download the Confirmation page after submitting the application form. Those who will unable to do so, CBSE has provided the numbers of the help desk. Such candidates have to approach Joint Secretary (CTET), CTET Unit, along with the proof of application submission, and Candidate copy of e – challan in case fee is submitted offline. The candidates can visit anytime between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M during the correction period.
The final status of the candidate’s application form will be displayed on March 25, 2019, at the official website. Only those candidates will be issued the admit card whose application form will be accepted by the CBSE, in the month of June 2019.
The CTET examination will be conducted offline in pen paper mode, After the successful conduction of examination, the answer key will be released in a month. However, CBSE will announce the final result within 06 weeks.
