Central Board of Secondary Education will accept applications for recruitment to 357 vacancies until tomorrow, December 16, 2019. CBSE has at present kept the online application form link active at cbse.nic.in. The board will have kept the registration window open for a total of 31 days as on the closing date.
Tomorrow, the link to apply online will be deactivated at 11:59. Thus all interested job seekers must complete their application form submission process by then.
There are 204 vacancies in the post of junior assistant, 14 for assistant secretary, 7 for assistant secretary IT, 14 for analyst IT, 8 for junior hindi translator, 60 for senior assistant, 25 for stenographer, 6 for accountant, and 19 for junior accountant.
Assistant secretary, assistant secretary IT, are level 11 posts in the pay band 3 of Rs 15600 – 39100 + grade pay of Rs 6600. Analyst IT is in level 10 with pay band 3 of Rs 15600 – 39100 + grade pay of Rs 5400.
Junior hindi translator post is a level 6 post with pay band 2 of Rs 9300 – 34800 + grade pay of Rs 4200. Senior assistant, stenographer, accountant posts are in level 4 with pay band of Rs 5200 – 20200 + grade pay of Rs 1900. Junior assistant, and junior accountant posts are level 2 posts with pay band 1 of Rs 5200 – 20200 plus grade pay of Rs 1900.

Application fee for UR, OBC, EWS candidates, for group A posts is Rs 1500 for each post. For group B and C it is Rs 800 for each post. There is no fee for SC, ST, PWBD, ex servicemen, women, regular CBSE employees. Group A posts refer to assistant secretary, assistant secretary IT, analyst IT. group B post is junior hindi translator. And group C posts are senior assistant, stenographer, accountant, junior assistant, junior accountant.
The post with the highest number of vacancies, junior assistant, is open for candidates who are have a class 12th pass qualification. Plus, they should possess a typing speed of 35 wpm or equivalent speed of 10500 KDPH in english or 30 wpm ir equivalent speed of 9000 KDPH in hindi on computer. Applicants for junior assistant post in CBSE should be 18 to 27 years old.
There will be computer based test for all the posts as the stage I of selections. After that, there will be interviews or skill tests for some posts. For group A posts, the cut off marks in stage I will be 50% for UR and EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC, ST, PWBD. The same shall apply to the posts where there will be skill test after the CBT.
