Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) hereby extends the last date to apply for the CBSE recruitment 2019 for 357 vacancies in various posts, to December 23, 2019. Earlier, the deadline was December 15, 2019. Candidates who could not apply earlier must do so now at cbse.nic.in. The board had released notification for this recruitment, CBSE/Rectt.Cell/Advt./FA/01/2019, last month, and has been accepting applications since November 15, 2019.
On Monday, the apply online will be removed at 11:59 pm. All steps leading up to the final submission of the form should be completed by then.
CBSE is recruiting for vacancies in the posts of assistant secretary, IT assistant secretary, analyst, junior hindi translator, senior assistant, stenographer, accountant, junior assistant and account accountant.
To apply online, interested job seekers need to visit the official website of the board cbse.nic.in. On the main page, click the recruitment tab, then click on the “announcement/openings” link. This opens a page containing all the ongoing recruitment in the board, and announcements related to it. Therein, select the topmost link stating “CBSE recruitment 2019 advt” with the apply online link.
However, before starting to fill the application form, candidates should keep ready, their valid e-mail id, mobile number, scanned copy of the passport size photograph, signature and required relevant certificates with them. These documents will be needed to be uploaded in the online form.
For successful submission of the form, applicants must upload the scanned images in the specified format. The size and format needed for the form for all the images are 50kb to 100 kb and in jpg/jpeg format respectively. Though certificates can be in pdf format also.
The overall process of submitting the application contains 3 steps: registration, filling the detailed form and submission of n application fee. The application fee for group A posts is Rs 1500 and for group B & C post the same is Rs 800 for the unreserved, OBC and EWS category candidates. The SC, ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen, women and regular CBSE employees are exempted from recruitment application form fees.
CBSE, for the final selection of the candidates, will conduct a written examination and skill test or interview. Applicants must note that the posting can be done in any of the board’s offices. The board will inform exam date, date of release of admit card for the exam, and other such details in time, at cbse.nic.in. Exam pattern and thus the relevant syllabus are already available in the notification.
The board says, ” Candidates in their own interest are advised to register on-line and submit their applications well in time before the last date as mentioned for the posts, to avoid the possibility of dis-connection / inability / failure to log on the Board’s website on account of heavy load on internet / website jam. The Board does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reasons beyond the control of the Board. “
