CBSE Date Sheet 2018 Released; Less Gap Between Papers Lead to Anxiety Among Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for Class 10th and 12th Board examinations. For both the classes, the exams are beginning from March 05, 2018, and the candidates are getting very less time gap. The class 10th exams will end on April 04, 2018, whereas, class 12th students will be a free bird on April 12, 2018.

After the release of the cbse date sheet, the students are anxious. The students of class 12 are tensed because the examination for Physical Education will be held on April 9, 2018, and the exam for JEE Main 2018 in Offline Mode is due to be conducted on April 08, 2018. This gives no time to the candidates for rest and revision.

However, there is a solution for every problem. The JEE Main 2018 Application Correction facility is available until January 22, 2018. The candidates can try and change the mode of JEE Main 2018 from pen and paper to computer based exam.

Another problem that the candidates of science stream are facing is that they are getting only one day gap for the Physics paper. The students also seemed to be disappointed by the fact that in the age of digitalization, CBSE is not an active participant in the social platform. Due to which, the request of the candidates is unheard.

The class 10th candidates will be appearing for the Board exams after a long gap of 8 years. The speculation has also turned true for 10th grade students because the first exam is not for the English language paper. The schedule of the exam is also quite packed as the candidates are only getting a gap of either one day or none between the examination.

The CBSE class 10th date sheet 2018 and class 12th date sheet 2018 are both available online, in the pdf format. There were reports circulating that there shall be some delay in the release of date sheet. However, the Central Board has managed to release it on time. Even last year, the dates were announced in the 2nd week of January.

The board exams will commence at 10:30 am. The candidates should reach the exam hall in time. If the center is in some other school or institute then the candidates are advised to visit it once before the exam.

Now that the date sheet has been released, it is high time that the students start preparing rigorously. As per the reports, around 30 lakh students will be appearing in 10th and 12th class board exam. The Board has suggested the respective school authorities to start with the Practice Examination. The practice examination shall begin by mid-January and will end on 31, 2018.

There has always been an invisible cloud of stress over students during “ The Board Exams”. However, students should not pay much attention to this. They should only focus on preparing well for the exam and scoring good marks. The preparation should start from now. Revision is an integral part of the preparation and is the key to success according to the toppers. The candidates should ensure that they do take time to revise.

The students usually get two months for revision. However, many tend to study at the last moment. However, candidates who utilize the preparation months for sure score well in the exam. Also, you should solve Past 10 years question papers as it has been observed that most of the questions come from past year. Time Management is an important factor before the exam and during the exam. Usually, students go for the subjects which are easy. However, in these two months, the priority should be given to all the subjects equally. The distribution of the question will be categories into Easy, Moderate and Difficult Questions.

All the very best to the class 10 and 12 candidates. Stay calm and study hard and you shall succeed. Also, what do you think about less time gap? Is it right or should the candidates get more time between the exams? And does CBSE need to change the exam date for JEE Main and Physical Education test? let know now your thoughts in the comment section below.

I don’t think studying beforehand is the problem. The 12th boards are the last exams after 12 years of school and our chance to get into colleges which may or may not include Indian colleges. Nor can we appear the 12th boards twice. Its a one time chance and they seem to be making it harder for the students. I am saying this as I will be appearing for it myself this year. I do not plan on taking the JEE Main or Advanced as I have already planned on choosing an Ivy league college for my college years. I have gotten 800 on 4 different SAT Subject Tests and will be appearing the SAT on May. Now there is availability of SAT on March but I just haven’t taken it due to the 12th board exams. But here it seems as if they have given more importance to competitive examinations than the boards itself. I have both computers and physics with only 1 day gap. I hoped for a larger gap to be able to revise, practice question papers and still have time for some rest (extra sleep) before the next exam. This is my opinion that the schedule has been made too packed just to accomodate those who are appearing special competitive exams which are not connected to CBSE. If the most common subject were placed in proper order than they could still finish it on the same time (e.g. 4-5 days for all subjects instead of 2 days for one and 8 days for another. That would still take 20 days for student having those five subjects. Then only those having uncommon subject combinations may face problems but much less compared to before while the majority will have a confident and fresh mind before exams. )

Students thinks that no time for preparation of physics exam. one day is not enough to revise the all portion. pathetic really.

10th std cbse…gap is too little specially for S.S its so vast and Science. It will burden the students as they are already burden with the change this year where they have to study the entire syllabus.
