As per the circular released by CBSE, class 10 and class 12 board exams will be held after February 15, 2019. The Central Board of Secondary Education has provided a pdf file to its affiliated schools. In that file, CBSE has defined the various activities to be performed by the schools. In the same pdf file, CBSE has also mentioned that CBSE Board Exams will be conducted after February 15, 2019, for Class 10, 12.
According to some reports, CBSE board exams for class 10 and 12 may begin from February 19, 2019. But there is no specific date available in the circular rather than indicating that the commencement of the exams will happen after February 15, 2019.
In the second half of February 2019, the vocational exams will be held. So, the candidates who have chosen the skill educational subjects will be able to appear for the exams after February 15, 2019. There are total 15 vocational subjects which have been provided by CBSE for class 10 while for class 12, it has given 40 skill educational subjects. Some subjects are there such as Office Communication, Graphics, Web Applications which have less than 500 students.
For March Exams, CBSE has not mentioned any specific date. But it is expected to be held from the first week of March 2019. As earlier, the exams of core subjects like Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Languages, Mathematics, Geography etc will be continued till April 2019.
As per the information shared by CBSE, the registration process for the board exams will be held in the month of October 2018. The respective schools are responsible to complete the registration process of their students.
After the registration process, the date sheet will be available for practical and theory subjects. The date is not available for the release of the CBSE Date Sheet 2019. The time table will be available online on the official website cbse.nic.in.
According to CBSE Time Table 2019, the practical exams will begin from the month of January 2019 and it will be continued till February 2019. The candidates will be able to appear for the practical exams on the basis of the subjects they have selected (vocational or core).
