CAT Admit Card 2018: IIM-C will release Hall Ticket Today for Only these Candidates

IIM Calcutta is going to conduct CAT 2018 exam on November 25, 2018. To appear for the test, the candidates will get the CAT 2018 Admit Card which will consist of information like the reporting time, exam center address, etc. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from October 24 to the exam date. However, the exam conducting body will issue the CAT Admit Card to only those candidates who must have completed the entire process so far in the prescribed format. Below are important factors on which the issuance of CAT admit card 2018 will depend.

#1. Application form submitted in prescribed format and before the last date

The last date to submit the CAT 2018 Application Form was September 19, which was then extended to September 26, 2018. Those who submitted the application form before the last date and in the correct format will be able to download their admit card and can report at the allotted test center.

This year, candidates kept on waiting for CAT correction but the facility to only change the photograph was provided. There were a lot of students who entered incorrect information in the form. These candidates can get the details corrected except the Category by contacting the concerned authorities at Helpline Number – 1-800-209-0830 (Toll-Free) or through email at [email protected].ac.in.

#2. AUTHENTIC INFORMATION Submitted

The candidates were required to submit only correct information in the CAT Application Form. Though those candidates who entered either their name incorrect or wrong date of birth, etc will be issued the CAT 2018 Admit Card and they can download it. However, the details printed on the admit card will be as per the information provided at the time of filling in details in the application form. Such candidates may contact the concerned authorities regarding this and can the changes done in the admit card.

However, the exam conducting has specified that it will not accept the request for the change in Category and Test Center.

#3 Application Fee Submitted on Time

The last step of the application process was fee payment. Those who have submitted the CAT Application Form before the last date with complete payment will be issued the CAT 2018 Hall Ticket. To download it, you need to visit the official website at, iimcat.ac.in. On the homepage of the website, click on the link which says “Download Admit Card”, after which a Candidate Login page will appear on the screen. In the CAT 2018 Login, the candidates have to provide their User ID and Password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details.

#4 Photograph Uploaded Correctly

Those who could not upload a correct photograph in the Application Form, need not require to worry as you will also get the admit card. After downloading the CAT Admit Card, the candidates will have to paste their passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. It is advised to the candidates to paste the photograph as the one which they uploaded in the Application Form.

The candidates should take a color print out of the CAT Admit Card on an A4 size paper. It is mandatory for the examinees to carry the print out of the Admit Card and a valid id proof such as college ID, employer ID, driving license, passport, PAN card, voter ID, aadhaar card, identification affidavit. Other than these two items, the candidates cannot carry anything inside the exam center.

After downloading the CAT Admit Card, the candidates should read all the instructions very carefully. Last year, the candidates were not allowed to wear shoes or any metal objects. It is advised to the candidates to wear open footwear like chappals, sandals.

Just like in all other entrance examinations, electronic gadgets like earphones, microphones, mobiles are banned inside the hall. The exam conducting body has also clarified that there will be no place to keep an aspirant’s personal belongings and therefore, the responsibility doesn’t lie on the exam authorities.
