IIM Calcutta has released the CAT 2018 Admit Card. To download the admit card, candidates can go to iimcat.ac.in. In order to obtain the admit card, the candidates will have to log in on the website. To do so, you can use your User ID and Password. After submitting the required details, your hall ticket will appear to you.
The CAT 2018 Admit Card contains some important information such as the candidate’s name, registration number, date of birth, category, date and day of the test, test time and test session, test city, test center, reference number, emergency contact number, google map number, and some important instructions.
Instructions to the Candidates
Candidates should print the admit card using the laser printer on A4 size paper. The photographs and the signature of the candidates must be visible. Candidates must paste the same photo as provided on the application form. This admit card is only valid for the specified date, time and session present on it.
Along with the CAT 2018 Admit Card, the candidates must have a photo identity proof such as College ID, Aadhar Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Employer ID/ Passport/ Identity Affidavit etc. The photo and the signature must be the same as given on the admit card.
Reporting Time and Exam Centre
For the forenoon session, the candidate must report at 7:30 am and for the afternoon session, the student must reach the exam centre at 1:00 pm. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 8:45 am and 2:15 pm for the forenoon and the afternoon session.
Candidates should check the location of the exam centre a day before the test. For the help, they can use the link of the google map embedded on the admit card. It will help them to recognize the centre and in reaching the centre on time.
Documents required on exam day
Only the Photo ID Proof and the admit card us allowed in the exam hall nothing else. Candidates will be given the writing pad and pen in the exam centre only for the rough word and it will be submitted after the completion of the exam. On the writing pad, the candidates must write their names and registration number. Any electronic device such as mobile phones, camera, calculator, watches, stationery items, pen, paper, wallets, goggles, jackets etc is not allowed in the exam hall. There will be no facility of safekeeping your stuff.
Those who will attempt to appear for CAT 2018 more than once will be disqualified. Friends or the relatives of the candidates will not be allowed in the test centre. The candidates must arrange the things themselves for the travel or for the stay.
The request to change the exam centre will not be entertained. The reference number is only for the limited purpose. For the correspondence with the CAT centre, the registration number will be needed.
