CAT 2026 Admit Card Download Opens Today at iimcat.ac.in; Mock Test Too, and IIMs Add Face Matching and Jammers

AglaSem News: Entrance Exams

CAT 2026 admit cards can be downloaded from today, 6 November, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have said. The window runs until 29 November, the day of the exam. The official mock test also opens today. The media release of 4 November gives no release time, so if the link is not live yet, try again later in the day.

The release also says IIMs have added security measures, including face matching and mobile jammers at select locations. It gives no further detail on how these will work. CAT is being held in three shifts on Sunday, 29 November, and IIMs say they can change the date and time if the situation requires it.

How to get your admit card

  1. Go to the secure CAT website, iimcat.ac.in. IIMs say this is the only place to download it.
  2. Log in with your CAT application login ID and password.
  3. Download the admit card and save a copy.

What to do once you have it

  • Check it straight away. Look at your name, photo, test centre and shift, and read the instructions printed on the card.
  • Allow extra time on exam day. Face matching may add a step at the gate, so plan your journey with some margin.
  • Take the official mock test. It is there to familiarise you with the exam format and interface, which you can do with more than three weeks still to go.
