Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has started the facility to correct photograph and signature in the application form of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019. It is available online, on iimcat.ac.in, and candidates edit images from CAT login by entering user id and password. The last date to make the changes is September 30, 2019, until 5:00 pm.
What are the specifications of photograph and signature?
It is important to upload images in the prescribed format. Candidates have to scan passport size photograph in 30mm X 45mm dimension and upload it in .jpg or .jpeg format. To upload signature, the candidates need to sign on a white sheet with a black or blue pen and scan it in 80mm X 35mm dimension. The image of the signature is also to be uploaded in .jpg or .jpeg format. Both the images should not be of more than 80KB and must be clear. The minimum resolution should be 150px / inch.
How to access CAT 2019 correction window?
To edit images in the application form of CAT 2019, candidates have to login by entering their user id and password at iimcat.ac.in. To do so, click on the “Login” button to submit the details. On submitting the login details, in the next screen, click on the “Application Form” tab. Once you click on the tab, in the next screen, the application form for CAT 2019 will open. Candidates need to click on the “Click Here to Upload” button. Read all the instructions very carefully and then proceed to reupload the images. Once the candidates have reuploaded the images, click on the “Submit” button.
As per reports, over 2,44,619 candidates have registered for CAT 2019. This is higher than last year when 2,40,338 candidates had applied. The jump in numbers has been attributed to the rising demands of up-skilling among the working population.
The image correction facility is free of cost, this means that candidates do not have to pay any amount for reuploading the images. Once the candidates submit the CAT 2019 Application Form, they shall not be allowed to reupload the image again.
IIMK has only started the image correction facility for the candidates. Correction in personal details, educational qualification details, etc shall not be allowed to the candidates. The information provided by the candidates in the CAT Application Form is final and is used by the IIM for issuing the admit card and preparation of score card.
CAT 2019 is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2019 in test centres spread across approximately 156 cities. The admit card is issued to the candidates who successfully submitted their application form and paid the application fee. IIMK releases the CAT 2019 Admit Card online on October 23, 2019. Candidates have to login to download their admit card and carry a hard copy of it to the test center.
