CA Foundation, Final and CPT Result Releasing Tomorrow; Register to Get Result through Email

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is going to announce the result for CA Final (Old and New course), CA Foundation and CA Common Proficiency Test (CPT) on January 23, 2019. The result is going to be announced at around 06:00 PM as per the notification published by the Institute. The exam for CA Final was held on November 01, 03, 05, 09, 11, 13, 15 & 17, 2018, the exam for CA Foundation was conducted on November 11, 13, 15 & 17, 2018 and that for CPT was held on December 16, 2018.

The Institute has made arrangements for the candidates to get their result in three ways. First is by visiting the official website, then checking it through e-mail and then via SMS and lastly it by Login. To get the CA Result 2018 by email, the candidates need to register online at icaiexam.icai.org. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to log in by clicking on “Login/ Register” tab and enter their Login ID and Password. Submit the login details, after which, click on the “Email Registration” link. In the next screen, the candidates have to provide their Name, Roll Number, E-mail id and then click on the ‘Register Me’ button.

In order to check the result through SMS for Foundation Examination, type CAFND (Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six digit Foundation Examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFND 000171 – and send the message to 58888 – for all mobile services.

In order to check the result through SMS for Final Examination (Old Course), type CAFNOLD (space) XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFNLOLD 000128. For Final Examination (New Course) type, CAFNLNEW (space)XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate) e.g. CAFNLNEW 000128 and send the message to 58888 – for all mobile services – India Times.

In order to check the result through SMS for CA CPT Examination type, CACPT(space)Six Digit Roll Number and send the message to 58888 – for all mobile services – India Times.

There will be some details mentioned on the Result page such as Roll Number, Paper Number, Name of the candidate and subject, Maximum and Minimum Marks, Marks Obtained and Result Status. After the declaration of Result, ICAI also publishes Merit List for CA Foundation and CA Final. It is made available through online mode. In order to view the Merit List, candidates are required to enter their Registration / Roll Number. Candidates must note that no merit list is released for CA CPT Examination.

Along with the results, All India Merit List (up to 50th Rank in the case of Final and Foundation Examination only) will also be published on the official websites only. Candidates can check their respective results on the websites namely icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org, icai.nic.in.

After the declaration of the result, the candidates will also get their Statement of Marks and Rank Certificate (in case of Foundation Examination), Statement of Marks and Pass Certificate (in case of Final Examination) and Rank Card (in case of CA CPT).

The Statement of Marks is sent to students via post within 4 – 5 weeks after the declaration of the result.  The Rank Certificate in case of Foundation Examination is sent only to those students who have secured 60% marks in aggregate. The Rank Certificates are issued the students who have upto 50th rank, on All – India basis. It is to be noted that the Rank Certificates are issued to the first, Second and Third rank holders.

Also, ICAI issues the Pass Certificates to the candidates who pass both the groups of CA Final, either together or group – wise. After the declaration of result, the candidates who appeared for CA CPT are issued the Rank Cards. The Rank Cards are made available on the official website within two weeks after the declaration of the result.
