Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited took PSU Recruitment to another level when it announced 2510 vacancies to filled through GATE. Since 2014, PSU Jobs through GATE has witnessed a gradual hike. But not every year a Miniratna allows such huge recruitment. Hence, when the recruitment was announced, the overjoyed candidates submitted the application from in hopes to secure government job.
However, dreams of many have been delayed after BSNL announced that it will only be recruiting those candidates who qualified degree course final examination on or before April 06, 2017.
Initially, BSNL did not provide this information on the official notice and numerous candidates applied for the JTO recruitment. Candidates even claim that they contacted the helpline number while registering to confirm the news but were told that they may apply.
The view point on this matter is bifurcated. While the candidates who will be passing the final semester now, consider their exclusion unfair. The others believe that the BSNL is taking a practical decision by doing so.
The process of BSNL DR JTO Recruitment through GATE 2017 is such that the selected graduates will be first sent for training and then they will be posted. So, if during the training period it is revealed that the candidate has a backlog or did not qualify the degree exam then it will be loss on all the sides. Hence, the decision by BSNL is just.
