Border Security Force (BSF) has released the application form for head constable radio operator and head constable radio mechanic post. The online application form has been released at the official website i.e. bsf.nic.in and rectt.bsf.gov.in. The BSF head constable application form filling process will last till June 12, 2019, by 11:59 pm and after that application form will not be accepted.
The general and OBC category candidates applying for BSF Head Constable 2019 recruitment those have to pay Rs 100/- as an application fee. For SC / ST /PWD category candidates and Women candidates fee is exempted. The candidates can make the fee payment through online SBI payment gateway only with the help of credit card, internet banking, credit card, debit card, etc.
The candidates applying for the recruitment must read the eligibility criteria first as if the candidates found ineligible at any stage of the recruitment process then he / she will be not considered for the further process. The candidate’s age must be 18 to 25 years old as on June 12, 2019, and must have qualified 12th standard or equivalent by Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with scoring aggregate 60% marks. The OBC and SC/ST category candidates age must not be more than 28 and 30 years, respectively.
The selection of the candidates for BSF Head Constable recruitment will be done on the basis of IV phases of examination namely; written examination. (phase I), PET, PST, Documentation (phase III), descriptive written test (phase III) and medical test (phase IV). As at first written examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 28, 2019, so for that admit card will be issued first. The admit card will be released at the official website.
The phase I examination will be of total 200 marks and will be containing a total 100 multiple choice questions. The question will be asked from physics, chemistry, maths, english, and general knowledge subjects and as per the notice, the standard of the questions will be 12th class (CBSE). For each incorrect answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted.
In order to qualify the written examination general / OBC and SC / ST / PWD / Women category candidates have to obtain minimum obtain 38% and 33% marks, respectively. However, the number of candidates who qualify the screening test and further to be selected for the next phase will be restricted to 20 times the number of vacancies for recruitment post. After each stage of the examination, a separate result will be declared.
For the shortlisted candidate’s PET, PST & Documentation round will be conducted. In order to qualify the phase II round, the candidates have to meet up the certain standard. The male and female candidates heigh must be of 168 and 157 cms, respectively. The physical efficiency test will consist of race, long jump, high jump, etc. Phase II will be conducted on October 09, 2019 onwards.
For the qualifiers of phase 2 test descriptive test will be conducted on November 24, 2019, and at last final round i.e. medical test is scheduled to be held on January 30, 2020. After conduction of the final round, the merit list will be released. The recruitment will be done for total 1072 vacancies to the post of Radio Operator and Radio Mechanic.
