Bombay High Court is hiring technical manpower on contract basis. Notification for recruitment to the post of System Officer, with 127 vacancies, and Senior System Officers, with 38 vacancies has been published.
The Bombay High Court recruitment 2019 notification has been released at bombayhighcourt.nic.in. Online application form for 168 vacancies will be available from tomorrow, October 5. Last date to apply online is October 21.

System officers will earn Rs 40,000 per month. And senior system officers will get Rs 46,000 per month. Selection shall be on the basis of educational qualification, experience and / or interview. Eligible candidates and dates for interview shall also be put up on the official website, in time.
Educational qualification requirement for the post of System Officer is BE/ B.Tech in CSE / IT / ECE with one year experience, or BE/ B.Tech in CSE / IT / ECE / MCA with one year experience. Plus, candidate should either possess network certification or additional certificate like MCSE (Micro Soft Certified Systems Engineer) / RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or equivalent qualification and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
To become a senior system officer, BE/B.Tech requirements are same as above, and in addition candidate should have five year experience. Certification requirements are also same as that of system officer.
Apart from that, it is required that candidate should be not more than 40 years of age. The upper age limit in the case of SC / ST and communities recognized as backward by the government is 45 years.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of educational qualification, experience or interview. The list of the eligible candidates and the date of interview will be published on bombayhighcourt.nic.in.
During the time of the Interview, the eligible candidates will have to submit two passport size photographs and the original documents along with duly self-attested photocopies of the ones that are uploaded in the online application form.
The senior system officer / system officer will be appointed for a period of one year (12 months) and it may be extended upto 5 years, depending on the performance of the candidates. The post is transferable throughout the state of Maharashtra and they will be entitled to eight leave in one calendar year.
Upon selection as senior system officer / system officer, will have to render technical assistance to the Registrar General, the Principal District Judge or the principal judge as the case may be in the ICT enablement of the courts to enhance the efficiency of the case information system.
The roles and duties of a senior system officer / system officer is to resolve CIS and data replication issues, install hardware and software, resolve hardware, software and network related issues, assist the principal district judge or the principal judge to monitor and analyze the data uploaded on the national Judicial Data Grid and to generate reports required to improve the court cases management.
