Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2019 online application form submission is ending soon. The last date to fill and submit the online application form is October 3, 2019, 11.59 pm. It is also the deadline for paying fees, and editing the form. Candidates are left with little time to fill the form at bsebstet2019.in.
For single paper (Paper I), candidates will have to submit Rs 500 by general / BC / EWS and Rs 300 by candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH. Candidates applying for both the paper (Paper I and II) has to submit Rs 800 by general / BC / EWS and Rs 500 by SC / ST / PH candidates. The fee has to be deposited online with the help of debit card / credit card / net banking. Candidates should be a resident of Bihar to apply for the STET exam and the minimum age of the candidate should be of 21 years.
Those applying for Paper I, should pass graduation in either English / Hindi / Urdu / Sanskrit / Mathematics / Science / Social Science with 50 % marks. Whereas those applying for Paper II, should pass post-graduation in either English / Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Computer Science with 50 % marks. For both the papers, it is mandatory to possess a B.Ed. degree.
Before filling up the application form pf BSTET 2019, candidates must keep handy of a valid mobile number, email id, 10th and 12th marksheet, graduation and post graduation marksheet, B.Ed. marksheets, category certificate (if applicable), a scanned photograph of 100 to 150 kb, and a scanned signature of 50 to 100 kb.
Now coming to the steps of registrations. The very step is to open bsebstet2019.in and click on New Register button. Then fill the required details with your email ID and mobile number. After that click on “Save and continue” button. The registration id will get generated in the screen and it will be also sent in your mobile number and email id.
Bihar STET exam has two papers. Paper I is for candidates opting to teach classes 9 and 10 (Secondary teachers) and paper II is for classes 11 and 12 (Higher Secondary teacher). Both the papers, Paper I and II a total of 150 questions are asked in a MCQ format from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Mathematics, Science and from the subject chosen by the candidates – Hindi / English / Urdu / Bangla / Maithili and Sanskrit. 1 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking for wrong answers or unattended questions. The exam is scheduled to be held in November 07, 2019.
The general category candidates have to pass with alteast 50 % marks and 45 % marks by OBC / SC / ST / PWD categories. A merit list will be prepared of the Bihar Baord by considering the candidate’s scores followed by total number of vacancies and on the basis of the number of candidates appeared in BSTET.
Candidates who qualify the Bihar TET 2019 will be awarded with BTET scorecard and certificate. It will contain the individual marks of all the subjects. his year, BSEB has opened a total of 25,270 vacancies for secondary school education and 12056 for senior secondary education.
