The Bihar Vidhan Parishad has published advertisement number 02/2019 as the Bihar Sachivalaya Sahayak notification 2019. As per it, the legislative council is conducting recruitment process for sahayak or assistant vacancies. Short notification has been published in leading dailies of the state, whereas detailed notification has been released at the official website biharvidhanparishad.gov.in.
Online application form will be available at the website from August 19, 2019, from 11 am. The same will be available for twenty days. The last date to apply online as well as pay fee is 6 pm on September 8, 2019.
The parishad will hold preliminary exam in computer based test mode, with objective questions, for all applicants. Those who qualify it will undergo hindi and english typing test, and a MS Office word processing test. After that there will be a descriptive mains exam. Merit list will be compiled on basis of hindi typing test and main exam.
Preliminary exam will be of 2 hours with 100 questions of 400 marks. There will be three sections namely general studies with 40 questions, general science and english with 30 questions, mental ability test and logical thinking with 30 questions. For each correct answer, candidate will get 4 marks, and for incorrect answers, 1 mark will be deducted. The test will have questions in hindi as well as english languages. Qualifying marks in preliminary exam will be 40% for UR, 36.5% for BC, 34% for EBC, 32% for SC, ST, females, PWD.

There are 31 vacancies of sahayak post as per the Bihar Sachivalaya Sahayak notification. These are divided in categories as 13 for UR, 5 for SC, 1 for ST, 5 for EBC, 4 for BC, 3 for EWS. Government job seekers who have passed graduation can apply. In addition they should have 30 wpm hindi and english typing speed. Desired qualification of sahayak post applicants is computer course certificate from AICTE / DOEACC / NIELIT approved institute or course equivalent to DOEACC / NIELIT O level.
Minimum age of applicant, as on January 1, 2019, should be 21 years. Upper age limit is 37 for unreserved males. It is 40 for unreserved females, OBC, EBC. And for SC and ST candidates, it is 42 years.
After prelims and typing test, will be the main exam. Main exam will have two papers. Paper I will be of 2 hours, 100 marks. It will be a hindi language test on essay writing, letter writing, grammar, sentence formation. Qualifying marks in paper I will be 30%, however marks in paper I will not be counted for merit. Paper II will be of 2 hours, 100 marks. It will have 80 marks on general studies, and 20 marks on numerical ability.
