Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission, BPSSC has released the notification for recruitment and starting of application form submission for Enforcement Sub Inspector post. The commission will activate the online application form link tomorrow, December 3, 2019. The form can be submitted by eligible candidates latest by January 6, 2020. Total vacancies for enforcement sub-inspector recruitment are 212.
Category wise there are 84 vacancies for UR, 34 for SC, 2 for ST, 38 for EBC, 25 for BC, 22 for EWS and 7 for BC-female.
Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission requires that to be eligible for applying for the enforcement sub-inspector post, one should be a graduate with a degree from a recognized university. Moreover, one must also adhere to the age limit prescribed by the commission. For males, the age of applicant should lie between 21 years to 42 years and for females, the maximum age is 45 years, minimum being the same.
Those who adhere to the eligibility criteria can fill the online form on the website, bpssc.bih.nic.in. Application fee for this recruitment is Rs. 400 for SC and ST candidates, and Rs 700 for general, OBC and EWS category candidates.
BPSSC has confirmed that there will be provision to pay the exam fee in both offline as well as online modes. Applicants can pay the fee through net banking, debit card, credit card in online mode and through e-challan in an offline mode. The last date of receipt of the fee is the same as the last date of an application form, January 6, 2020.
For selecting candidates, the selection procedure adopted by the commission consists of prelims exam, main examination and a physical endurance test. Though as per the short notification 02/2019 released, BPSSC has not yet declared the exam dates. It states that the same will be announced in due course of time.
However, the commission has specified the physical requirements separately for the male and female candidates to adhere to. For males, it is required that height should be 165 cms and for females, the same should be 150 cms. When the physical efficiency test will be conducted, males will be expected to cover a distance of 25 Km in 4 hours and females will have to cover 14 km in 4 hours.
