Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for 6,437 vacancies. The last date to apply online has been extended to October 28, 2019. There are 2,425 vacancies of specialist medical officer, and 4,012 vacancies of general medical officer.
The official website for BTSC and its recruitment is btsc.bih.nic.in. However the online application form for this recruitment is at pariksha.nic.in. Candidates with an MBBS degree can apply for general medical officer. Those with MBBS and postgraduation in relevant field, can apply for specialist medical officer. It is also necessary to have completed the compulsory rotatory internship.
Upper age limit for unreserved males, unreserved females, SC and ST, BC and EBC are respectively 37 years, 40 years, 42 years, and 40 years.
To fill the form applicants need to visit pariksha.nic.in. Click on apply online, and then click all notifications. This leads to the page with all ongoing application form submissions. Separate apply online links are provided for Specialist Medical Officer of Gynecologist, Microbiology, Physician Post Graduate in Medicine, Pediatrician, E.N.T. Specialist, Ophthalmologist, Pathology, Radiologist Post Graduate in Radiologist, Psychiatrist, Anaesthesia, Dermatologist, General Surgery Specialist, Orthopedic, and General Medical Officer.
In part 1 of registration, one has to enter personal details including type of recruitment, name, fathers/husband’s name, domicile state, category, sub category, dob, gender, marital status, contact no, email-id, qualification details and get verification number. Upon entering verification number, 16 digit registration number is generated.
Then fee has to be paid. In part 2, candidates need to upload their recent color photograph, and signature.
Candidates having the MBBS graduation qualification is eligible for General Medical Officer (GMO) post and similarly having the post-graduation qualification and diploma holders having 3 years and 5 years of work experience are eligible to apply for the Specialised Medical Officer (SMO). The selected candidates will be hired on a pay scale of Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800 according to the 7th Revised Pay structure.
For candidates belonging to General, Backward class and EWS category, the application fee is Rs. 200. For SC/ST and OBC (Bihar candidate), is Rs. 50 and same for Unreserved/ Reserved (Female Bihar Candidate). To pay the fee applicants can use the online mode and SBI e-challan as well as per the comfortability.
Once done with the submission of the application form commission will call the selected candidates for the counselling purpose where all the original certificates belonging to the caste, education, residential are cross-checked.
Bihar Technical Service Commission has been constituted by the Bihar Technical Service Commission Act, 2014 for selection of candidates for the technical posts of Group ‘B` and `C` under the State Government, Bihar. And for the same purpose has with themselves a total of 6437 vacancies for the post of SMO and GMO. Apart from this, the commission has announced the recruitment of staff nurse grade A and tutor under advertisement number 02/2019.
