Intermediate students of Bihar Board had appeared for compartmental exams from July 3 to 13, 2017. Within a month of the last exam date, today the board has announced class 12 (Arts, Science, Commerce) compartmental exam results.
A significant event that happened was that due to growing protests, the board also commenced scrutiny of papers. A large number of students were allowed to appear in compartmental exams to give a chance for marks improvement to students who had failed in two subjects or were not satisfied with their marks. Go through 4 simple steps to check result: Visit http://www.biharboard.ac.in, Go to “Results” tab in menu and click on “X & XII Results 2017”, Click “Intermediate Examination (Arts/ Science/ Commerce) Compartmental Result 2017” or “Intermediate Examination Vocational Compartmental Result 2017”, Login with roll code or roll number or name and click on find result; result displays on screen.
The result is available name wise also. So even if student does not remember his / her roll number or roll code, then they can simply enter first name and click on find result. A list of all candidates with that name will appear on screen and among them the appropriate name (that matches first and last name of student) can be selected to view result. There is also provision to check Bihar compartmental result 2017 by roll code and roll number. Roll code of BSEB students is of 5 digits whereas roll number is of 8 digits.
BSEB Intermediate Compartmental Result 2017 displays following key information: name of candidate, father’s name, roll code and number, enrollment number, faculty (arts / science / commerce), marks details (subject name, full marks, pass marks, theory marks, result pass or fail). There is an option to print the result also on result display page.
Also, the Bihar School Examination Board has held compartmental exam for class 10 students. Dates for the same was July 27 to August 8, 2017. 49.68% students had failed the class 10 board exams. It is probable that Bihar Compartmental Result 2017 for class 10 will also be announced in the month of August.
It is also relevant to note that there were such cases wherein students had registered themselves for intermediate examination but could not fill forms. Even they got an opportunity to appear in the exam. For them, the exam was treated as special examination.
Statistics for Bihar Compartmental Result 2017 for intermediate students suggest that 1,30,474 students had appeared. 53,000 have passed. Overall 71.36% students have passed. The pass percentage stream wise is as follows: Arts – 72.75%, Commerce – 69.29%, Science – 70.38%.
40,593 students of Arts stream witnessed pass status in their compartmental result, whereas the number is 22,000 in Commerce, and 50,430 in Science. In special examination, 43.13% students have passed.
Previously the board had announced Simultala Awasiya Vidyalay Jamui preliminary test result on June 28. The initial results for Matric exam were announced on June 22, and that for Intermediate exam was announced on May 31. Scrutiny exam results were published on June 17.
