Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot announced the provisional results today, May 24, 2021, for the Staff Nurse Recruitment Test 2021. Authorities have also posted a pdf containing marks obtained by each candidate in the recruitment examination. This year, the staff nurse written examination was conducted on May 23, 2021, through the pen-and-paper format at allotted centres. COVID-19 related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were also followed at these centres. Candidates who appear for the recruitment test can check their results on the official website bfuhs.ac.in.
To check their results, candidates must go to the official website bfuhs.ac.in and scroll down to the “Latest Notices” section on the homepage. Thereafter, they must click on the “Provisional Result of Staff Nurse recruitment test held on 23-05-2021” link in the “jobs” section. By doing so, a link shall open containing the result pdf.
The pdf file comprises a list of candidates who appeared for the exam, their father’s name, roll number and marks obtained. The candidates have been arranged according to their roll numbers to make it easier for them to check their marks. Candidates are advised to carefully check the marks mentioned next to their exam roll number. Furthermore, they are advised to download this pdf for future reference.
The Staff Nurse Recruitment 2021 examination was conducted in view of the rising COVID-19 cases in the country and the shortage of medical staff to deal with the situation. Online applications for the recruitment process were invited from May 01 to 15, 2021 for candidates who fulfilled all the eligibility criteria. A total of 473 vacancies have been allotted for the selection process taking place at government medical colleges at Amritsar and Patiala. This recruitment is also applicable for other hospitals affiliated with the Department of Medical Education & Research, Government of Punjab.
Along with the 473 posts of Staff Nurse at government hospitals, additional 30 posts have also been created at Guru Gobind Singh medical College and Hospital, Faridkot and hospitals affiliated with BFUHS. According to the recruitment details present on the official website, selected candidates shall receive a renumeration of Rs.29,200 for the services rendered. This is in accordance with the 7th pay commission prescribed by the central government along with any amendment issued by the finance department of Punjab government.
The Staff Nurse Recruitment 2021 written examination was conducted yesterday through the pen-and-paper format. Due to the concerning COVID-19 situation, candidates were asked to present a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) test report to allow entry at the examination centre. In case a candidate failed to do so, he/she shall not be allowed to appear for the exam.
