BECIL recruitment 2019 is now open for 3,895 vacancies. There are 1,402 vacancies for skilled manpower, and 2,493 for unskilled manpower. The recruitment shall be as per norms laid down in the advertisement number BECIL/CONTRACT JOB/MVVNL/Advt.2019/04. Last date to apply for it is November 18, 2019.
For the posts under unskilled manpower, candidates with 8th pass qualification, at least one year experience preferably in electrical system, with reading and writing knowledge of Hindi and at least reading knowledge of English can apply. For this position, candidates should be between 18 to 55 years old.
Whereas for skilled manpower posts, one should be between 18 to 45 years of age. For these posts, required qualification is ITI certificate in electrical trade or wireman or higher technical degree diploma in engineering, and or shall possess overhead certificate for electrical safety. Reading and writing knowledge of Hindi and English are needed. Here the required experience is at least 2 years, in electricals.
Roles of responsibilities of these positions at BECIL shall entail operating and maintaining 33/11 KV substations and LT/HT distribution lines and its other related work round the clock in three relay shift of 8 hours shift.

On the said website, candidates can apply by clicking the apply link, and following the instructions that appear on the screen. Candidates will have to upload documents in support of educational qualification, experience, passport size photograph, PAN card, and aadhaar card. Whereas notification is available here also, it can also be obtained from becil.com.
Application fee for the recruitment is Rs 500 for general, OBC candidates, and Rs 250 for SC, ST, PH candidates. Payment of the amount has to be done via NEFT / RTGS.
Either the form has to be submitted online, or offline. If submitted online, then there is no need to do so offline. However to opt for the latter mode, candidates can submit the form in person at the corporate office.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interaction, documents verification from November 19 to 22, 2019. BECIL will send sms to such candidates, and also upload notification regarding the same at becil.com and beciljobs.com. At the time of document verification, candidates are required to bring original documents as well as a set of self-attested photocopies.
Thereafter, selected candidates will be asked to join on December 1, 2019, at Vidyut Vitran Nigam, Uttar Pradesh. The salary for advertised posts shall be as per the guaranteed minimum wages set by UP government. That is Rs 9,381.06 for skilled manpower, and Rs 7,613.42 for unskilled manpower.
