Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), vide advertisement no. 1/2019 (r ii) had notified 74 vacancies of work assistant in group C posts in the Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT), Mumbai. The posts were opened for class 10th pass candidates. Now, the list of candidates who have been provisionally screened in, and the list of screened out candidates has been published.
A total of 1,19,570 candidates are screened in and 666 have been screened out. If any candidate finds any discrepancy in the list, then he or she can send an email to [email protected]
The list of screened in candidates contains application number, full name, date of birth, and caste. In the screened out list, reason for rejecting the candidates is also mentioned. Common reasons of rejection including not approved, overage candidates, fee not paid, duplicate application. Most of them are due to duplicate applications.
To check this list, candidates need to go to barc.gov.in -> career opportunities -> recruitment -> interviews and results. On that page, the provisional list is provided.
The notification says ” Provisional Screened-In and Screened-Out lists of candidates for the post mentioned above are declared below. The candidates are requested to check the details uploaded with respect to their application number. In case of any discrepancies only then the same may be intimated to this office through email to [email protected] mentioning candidate’s name and application number on or before 03/11/2019. Note: If the candidate’s name is appearing in the provisional Screened-In list, kindly do not send any kind of e-mail informing the same and do not make any telephone calls. Examination date will be uploaded on website in due course of time.”
A few days ago BARC had released the list of screened in and out candidates for advertisement no. 1/2019 (r iii) against stenographer grade 3. Only 1,779 candidates have been deemed eligible for that post whereas 11,756 were declared not eligible. For that BARC recruitment 2019, the exam date was released with the list only. BARC will conduct written exam level 1 for stenographers on November 17, 2019, and the skill test level 2 on November 18, 2019. Its admit card will be available from November 5, 2019.
In the case of BARC work assistant recruitment 2019 however, the exam date and admit card details will be available in some time. It is expected that these details will come after November 3, 2019, once BARC gets all emails from candidates regarding discrepancies in the list.
There will be two exams for BARCH work assistant recruitment. First will be a preliminary test with 50 mcqs of 1 hour duration. The exam will have 20 questions on math, 20 on science, and 10 on gk. Each question for which candidate gives correct answer will fetch 3 marks, and 1 will be deducted for incorrect answer.
Qualifying marks in prelims is set as 40% for general, and 30% for reserved category. The number of candidates to be shortlisted for next exam, the advanced test, will be equal to 4-5 times the number of vacancies, that is between 296 to 370.
Then advanced test will be held with 50 mcqs of 2 hours. There will be 16 questions on math, 15 on science, 10 on ga, and 10 on basic english. The same marking scheme as prelims shall apply.
