All the candidates who are permanent residents of Assam are informed that Government of Assam’s Secondary Education Department has announced the date of Assam High School TET 2019. Medium wise Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) in Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi and Manipuri is going to held on December 22, 2019. The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) has published one common notification RMSA/Special TET /842/2017/168 for all mediums, and separate advertisements for each medium as well.
The department has earlier observed that after getting teaching position, teachers send request to get transfer to area of choice. This affects the relationship building process between students and teacher, and to avoid the same, this time the districts have been grouped into several zones. While applying for the Assam high school TET 2019, candidates need to select preferred zone. Upon qualifying the TET. candidates who are selected after satisfying all criteria during recruitment, will get placed in selected zone only.
Candidates who have filled the application form on the basis of previous notification, are advised to re-visit the official website. After revisiting candidates have to choose the zones of their choices and have to upload the passing certificate and other information of the B.ed on the online portal.
Aspiring teachers can fill the application forms on the official website which is ssa.assam.gov.in. Procedure of filling out the application form online, will start from today that is November 15, 2019 and the same will end on November 25, 2019. The last date of paying the fee is December 28, 2019 and the amount to be paid is Rs 400.
It is mandatory for the candidate to score minimum 60% marks to qualify the Assam TET 2019 exam. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, PWD category will get 5% relaxation in the marks.
Assam high school or special TET 2019 will of total 200 marks and will have three sections. General studies and current affairs, pedagogy and general english are common for every medium, and then there is a section which is specific to the language chosen by the candidate. General studies and current affairs will have 50 multiple choice questions and each question carry 01 mark. Pedagogy and general english is of 100 marks and will have 100 multiple choice questions. Language specific paper carries 50 questions and each question is of 01 mark.
