All India Council for Technical Skill Development (AICTSD) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay alumni are jointly organising the Aryabhatta National Maths Competition 2021. The national-level online examination shall be conducted on June 10, 2021. A total of three prizes and additional benefits shall be provided to those who bag the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. A student who acquires All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the exam shall be awarded a whopping Rs.1,50,000 as prize money. Interested students can apply for the exam on the official website aictsd.com.
Student bagging the first place shall receive Rs.1,50,000 as prize money along with 1 Year of free training and R&D on Robotics Automation and Software. The second place shall come with prize money of Rs.50,000 along with 6 months of free training in Robotics. Student winning the third prize shall be awarded Rs. 10,000 along with 3 months of free training. Various other perks and benefits shall be awarded to the three winners.
AICSTD has already published the examination schedule for the Aryabhatta National Mathematics Competition 2021. The last date to register for the exam is May 20, 2021. After conducting the exam on June 10, 2021, results shall be declared on June 30, 2021. The top 20 students from the online exam shall proceed for the online live interview round. Based on this round, the top 3 students shall be shortlisted as the winners of the competition.
Students from any college or schools who want to portray their mathematical ability on a national level and become the “Technology Scientist of Future India – 2021” are eligible to apply. However, they must be between 10 to 24 years of age. Based on the age criteria, three groups of students shall be formed. Group 1 shall comprise students who are 10-13 years old. Group 2 shall contain students who are 14-17 years old. The third group shall be formed by students who are 18-24 years old.
To apply for the exam, candidates have to follow a 3-step registration process on the official website aictsd.com. These steps include filling the application form, paying the application fee of Rs.290 and getting a confirmation email along with the hall ticket number within 48 hours. Thereafter, they must appear for the online exam and wait for the results which shall be declared as per the schedule.
The national-level examination shall be conducted through the online mode which the candidate can give at home. The exam shall contain objective-based multiple-choice questions which are to be solved within 45 minutes. The paper shall contain a total of 30 questions for a total of 60 marks. However, 1 mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates shall be notified of their exam date and time slot before the exam on their registered mobile number via SMS. Hence, they are advised to keep a track of their messages to not miss the important exam information.
