Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, is inviting applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor, for which 38 vacancies have been identified. Applications can be submitted online at colrec.du.ac.in. For all the departments in which vacancies are available, the basic pay will be Rs 57,700 in pay level 10 as per the 7th pay commission. Plus usual allowances will be given as admissible under the rules of Delhi University from time to time.

Candidates will be screened for interviews on the basis of their academic records that include graduation, post graduation, M.Phil, PhD, NET with JRF, NET, research publications, teaching / post doctoral experience, awards. Screening committee will call a limited number of candidates for interview on the basis of their shortlisting criteria. They will call minimum 50 candidates for first vacancy, 20 candidates for every additional vacancy, for an interview. If suitable number of candidates are not found, then the minimum cut off will be progressively lowered.
The college adds, “In case the applicant gets screened/shortlisted/selected/appointed on the basis of the credentials furnished by him/her which are, on scrutiny, found to be incorrect / inadmissible / forged / fabricated / falsified, his / her candidature shall be liable to be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment/at any time during the tenure of the service and appropriate legal action under applicable law shall be initiated against the applicant.”
