APSC Declares CCE Prelims Result 2018 at apsc.nic.in; 3361 Candidates Qualifies

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has declared the result of Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminray) 2018 on March 13, 2019 around 01:30 PM. The APSC CCE Prelims result has been announced at apsc.nic.in for the examination held on December 30, 2018. The Commission released the result through the pdf file which is containing the roll number of qualified candidates.

The candidates who enrolled in the preliminary examination can check their result now. The pdf contains the roll number of qualified candidates in serial order. The same result can be downloaded from the official website of APSC.

As per the official notification, among the qualifiers of the prelims, total candidates equal to the 11 to 12 time of vacancies will be called for the main exam (for writing part only). Thus around 2398 to 2616 candidates will be selected for the main exam among 3361 candidates who qualified the prelims. And the result of three candidates has been put on withholding. For the interview, the candidates equal to twice the number of vacancy will be called. The selection of the candidates will be done by preparing the merit list which will be strictly based on the vacancies and reservation.

Now all the qualifiers of the preliminary examination have to fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF), only then they will be allowed to appear in the main exam. The dates related to DAF have not notified yet. Those who will fill the DAF will be issued the call letter for the main examination. Filling DAF is a crucial task, as the interview of the candidates is partially based on the details of the candidate in DAF.

The main examination of APSC CCE 2018 includes a written examination of 1400 hundred marks and interview of 200 marks. Thus the entire examination comprises of 1600 marks. The candidates have to qualify each examination separately.

The APSC will select a total of 218 candidates, in which 47 women candidates and 06 PWD candidates will be selected. Pay Scale of Candidates after Selection Through APSC CCE 2018

After final selection through APSC CCE 2018, the candidates will be paid the Scale of pay, Grade pay, and other allowances per month by APSC.
