Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) is starting the KMAT 2019 Registration on 25 May. The all India level exam will be conducted on 21 July for admission to 189+ management institutes of Bangalore and Karnataka. KMAT Karnataka is the last common entrance examination for admission to 2019-21.
The KMAT Karnataka 2019 Application Form will release online on kmatindia.com. Candidates will get 46 days to submit the application form. The last date to apply is July 10, 2019. Last year, the application fee for the exam was Rs 800/- for all the candidates. The exact figures for this year will be available on 25 May.
Candidates from India and Abroad are eligible to apply for the KMAT exam. Along with it, a student must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam. For SC/ ST candidates there is a relaxation of 5% marks.
Candidates clearing the KMAT 2019 Exam will able to pursue the post graduation from the Silicon Valley of India. Hence, numerous job opportunities. So, to take admission to the MBA/PGDM/MCA courses, prepare for the pen and paper-based test as early as possible. As the exam is less than 2 months away, gather all the preparation resources like exam pattern, syllabus, mocks, practice books.
According to KMAT Karnataka 2019 exam pattern, the paper is divided into three sections having a total of 120 multiple choice questions. Each question has a weight-age of 1 mark with no negative marking for wrong response. The sections are Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Logical & Abstract Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability.
The difficulty level of KMAT 2019 is Moderate
The syllabus for VARC comprises of grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, reading comprehension, etc. This section tests the candidate’s language skills and understanding. The logical reasoning section evaluates the ability to think quickly and decision making. The common questions in LR are analogies, verbal reasoning, etc.
The quantitative section has the highest number of topics. In order to attempt these questions, candidates must be comfortable with numbers. So, practice questions related to Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, graphs, tables and so on.
After gathering all the topics of the exam, start the preparation by practicing as many questions as possible. Along with that, also practice previous year question papers. Refer books from authors like Chandresh Agarwal, BS Sijwalii, Dhruv Nath to get familiar with the exam. The admit card for the KMAT 2019 exam will be available on July 18, 2019.
About KMAT: The test is conducted by both Kerela and Karnataka for the MBA admission to their respective states. The KMAT Kerala is conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and the registration for June session is currently ongoing. The KMAT Karnataka is conducted by KPPGCA for the PG admission.
