AP PGECET 2019 Result Delayed; To be Announced On 14 May

As per the confirmation received from one of the officials, AP PGECET 2019 Result is now to be declared on May 14, 2019 and not today, i.e May 09, 2019. Although, the official website has not yet notified anything regarding the revised result date as yet. Candidates can check their AP PGECET 2019 Result on its official website, sche.ap.gov.in. 

How To Download AP PGECET 2019 Rank Card?

To download it, a candidate needs to visit the official website and look for the result login. To access it, candidates needs to fill relevant details and click on the “Login” button. Your AP PGECET 2019 Rank card now appears on the device’s screen. Make sure, after viewing your scores, you save a copy of the same. Previously, Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam has released the official answer key on May 5, 2019, on which objections could be raised till May 07, 2019.  

To qualify the AP PGECET 2019, candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks. The qualifying percentage marks are 25% i.e., 30 marks out of a total of 120. However, for SC/ST category candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates.

The qualifiers in the entrance exam will be then eligible to appear for AP PGECET 2019 counselling. At the time of counselling, shortlisted candidates need to carry relevant documents in proof of their age, educational qualification, etc. Candidates should note that while filling up the seats in colleges, first preference will be given to candidates qualified in GATE / GPAT in the relevant based on their test scores and the remaining seats with the candidates qualified in AP PGECET-2019 as per their merit ranks.

PGECET-2019 is the Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Common Entrance Test for admission into M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm. courses in University Engineering / Pharmacy colleges and their affiliated colleges approved by All India Council for Technical Education. This year, the exam has been conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

AP PGECET 2019 was held on May 02 to 04, 2019 in computer based test mode. This exam was conducted across Anantapur, Bhimavaram, Guntur, Hyderabad, Kadapa, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Rajahmundry, Srikakulam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram. Candidates had to attempt 120 questions from related, undergraduate topics.

The medium of the exam is English language only. The question type of these 120 questions are multiple choice questions. There is no negative marking scheme applicable to this state level exam. One of the noteworthy point to appear for this exam is that a candidate needs to necessarily possess an Aadhar Card.
