AP Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh had notified 11158 vacancies of Panchayat Secretary Digital Assistant under the AP Grama Sachivalayam notification 2019. This is a grade 6 post. The number of vacancies are divided in districts as 835 in Srikakulam, 664 in Viziangaram, 739 in Visakhapatnam, 1271 in East Godavari, 938 in West Godavari, 845 in Krishna, 872 in Guntur, 884 in Prakasam, 665 in SPSR Nellore, 1035 in Chittoor, 896 in Ananthapuramu, 881 in Kurnool, and 633 in YSR Kadappa.
Degree or diploma holders in electrical, electronics, computers, IT, instrumentation, BCA/MCA, any degree with computers as one of the subjects such as B.Sc. (Computers) / B.Com. (Computers) can apply. Provided that their age is between 18 and 42 as on July 1, 2019. 48 hours are left to apply. The last date to submit application form is August 10, 2019.
The application process comprises of three steps. First is to go to gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in and do one time profile registration (OTPR). Then to fill the online application form. And finally to pay fee. The fee amount is Rs 200 as application fee, Rs 200 as examination fee, Rs 100 for non districts per districts. Reserved category candidates applying for AP Grama Sachivalayam 2019 Panchayat Secretary Digital Assistant only need to pay the application fee amount.
For the purpose of selection to these advertised 11158 vacancies, there will be a written exam whose syllabus and exam pattern are defined. The exam will be a written objective type test comprising of two parts A and B. Part A will have general studies, mental ability, Indian history, polity, economy, geography with special reference to Andhra Pradesh. Part B will have questions on engineering subjects. These parts will respectively have 50 questions of 50 marks, and 100 questions of 100 marks. Likewise the time duration for each will also be 50 minutes and 100 minutes. The paper will carry negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
The candidates will be judged through the marks they have secured in the OMR based written exam. The minimum qualifying marks for OCs is 40%, then 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs, STs and PHs.
