The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada has announced the examination dates of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) on its official website. The entrance examination for engineering courses will be conducted from July 04 to 08, and agriculture & medical courses will be held on July 11 and 12. The detailed notification along with the application form will be released online on April 11, 2022. AP EAMCET also known as AP EAPCET is a state-level entrance test conducted every year for admissions to various engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses offered in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
AP EAMCET Eligibility and Application Form
Candidates should fulfill all the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the AP State Council of Higher Education to apply for the entrance examination. Candidates must belong to Andhra Pradesh or Telangana and must fulfill the local/non-local status requirements laid out by the authorities to be eligible to apply. They must also pass class 12 from any recognized board with minimum aggregate marks and should be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2022.
Candidates should first pay the registration fees to apply online for the examination. Those from the unreserved category should pay INR 800 and SC/ST/PH candidates should pay INR 400 to appear in one paper. To appear for both Engineering and Agricultural & Medical, a registration fee of INR 1600 and INR 800 should be paid by the candidates respectively.
AP EAMCET Exam Date and Pattern
The entrance test for engineering stream will be held in 10 sessions from July 04 to 08, 2022 and for agriculture and medical will be held in 4 sessions on July 11 and 12, 2022. The admit cards will be released online in the first week of July. After the result declaration, there will be a counseling session for the selected candidates.
The examination will be conducted in an online mode for a duration of 3 hours. A total of 160 objective questions will be asked for the online test. For engineering courses the questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics whereas for agriculture & medical courses questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers. The detailed syllabus will be updated on the official website once the notification is released.
