Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh will release AP DSC TET cum TRT 2020 notification in January, as per reports. The recruitment will be to fill various posts including school assistants (SA), language pandits (LP), physical education teachers (PETs), trained graduate teachers (TGT), post graduate teachers (PGTs).
Different news articles, video reports, and social media announcements have been made about DSC notification 2020. Each say different things. Like some say that there will be 7,000+ vacancies, others say there will be 20,000+ vacancies, and some say there will be 600+ vacancies.
Another aspect of AP DSC 2020 that these reports suggests, is that the notification will be published on or around the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, that falls on January 15, 2020. This particular report has caught the attention of many government job aspirants and they are all waiting for the notification four months later.

It is relevant to note that last year AP DSC was organized for school education, and residential schools. There were two notifications. Notification no.768/trd-1/2018 was for teacher recruitment test (TRT) for the posts of SA, LP, PET, music teachers, craft teachers and art & drawing teachers and tet-cum-trt for the posts of secondary grade teachers (SGTs). Notification no.768/trc-1/2018-1 was for teacher recruitment test (TRT) for the posts of principals, PGTs, TGTs, PETs, craft, art and music teachers.
Last year there were 4,334 vacancies in school education (govt./ZPP/MPP), 7 in special schools, 1,100 vacancies were in municipal schools, 500 in ashram schools agency in schedule area of tribal welfare department, and 300 in non agency ashram school in non schedule area of tribal welfare department.
The recruitment notification for AP DSC TET cum TRT was released last time in the month of November. Whereas the recruitment tests were conducted in December 2018-January 2019, some aspects of the recruitment like skill tests were held in January.
Since the notification released in November last time, therefore government job aspirants in Andhra Pradesh were looking forward to AP DSC 2019 notification in November this year. However now that reports say that AP DSC 2020 notification will come in January, then there will probably not be any recruitment this year.
It is relevant to note that recently Andhra Pradesh government added a beautiful feather in their cap by organizing the AP grama sachivalayam recruitment 2019. The notification for 1.26 lakh vacancies released on July 25, and on September 19, the results were announced. A recruitment of this scale, in which 21 lakh + candidates had applied, to be wrapped up so quickly was a major feat.
The final decision on when AP DSC 2020 notification will release, vacancies, and other details of it, will be as per the decision of the Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The same will be available publicly when the time comes.
