Before you pay
- Decide how many posts to apply for. You can apply for more than one, but the fee is charged per post.
- Put your preferences in the order you really want. Once you are selected against your highest preference, your name is removed from every other list. You get one chance to reorder them, for seven days after the merit list.
- Check your Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) score. For School Assistant (except Physical Education) and Secondary Grade Teacher posts, the final score combines the recruitment test (80%) and TET (20%). APTET and CTET scores count, with pass marks of 90, 75 or 60 out of 150 depending on category.
- Know the minimum. The qualifying aggregate is 40% for OC and EWS, 35% for BC, and 30% for SC, ST and persons with benchmark disabilities.
- Expect normalised marks. Because the test runs across several shifts, scores will be normalised using the formula in the notification.
Post-wise qualifications are in the Information Bulletin on the DSC site. If you are already in government, local body or contract service, the notification requires you to tell your head of office in writing that you are applying. For TET details, see the AP TET page on AglaSem Career.
