The exam dates for Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test (CET) 2018 has been announced. The New Indian Express has reported that Ganta Srinivasa Rao, the State Human Resources Development Minister, revealed the exam dates on Monday. The dates have been announced for all the state CETs, namely AP EAMCET (engg), AP LAWCET, AP EDCET, AP EAMCET (bipc), AP ICET, AP ECET, AP PGECET, AP PECET.
The first CET will be for B.Ed admission. It is called as AP EDCET (AP Education Common Entrance Test) and will be held on on April 19, 2018. Through the examination, the candidates will get admission in B.Ed Regular course in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh.This will mark the beginning of AP CET 2018 and rest of the exams will follow as per the predecided schedule.
Along with the B.Ed examination, AP Law Common Entrance Test 2018 (AP LAWCET) will also he conducted April 19, 2018. The exam will be organized by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuram. Applicants who will pass the exam will be allotted seats in the law Institutes in Andhra Pradesh, in 3 years and 5 years LLB courses.
Next in the line is Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). AP EAMCET 2018 for Engineering admission is due to be held from April 22 to 25, 2018. The exam will be conducted for admission in UG engineering courses, offered by various state universities and colleges.
The fourth exam is AP EAMCET BiPC 2018 also known as AP EAMCETB 2018. The paper is due on April 26, 2018, and the candidates who will pass it will get admission in Bi.P.C stream in colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh. Aspirants will appear for AP Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2018 on May 02, 2018. Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam, will be the conducting body of the exam. Applicants who will clear the exam will be eligible for MBA and MCA admission in the state. All the candidates applying for AP ICET 2018 must have completed their Under Graduation (UG) before the commencement of academic session.
Following day, i.e. on May 03, 2018, Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) will be conducted. Governing body JNTU, Anantapur, will give admission in Engineering, Pharmacy and M.Sc courses to candidates who have passed the exam. Only those candidates are eligible to appear for AP ECET 2018 who have passed 10+2 or have Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy. Candidates seeking admission in M.Sc must have completed B.Sc (3 years) course before the beginning of the academic session.
AP PGECET 2018 for PG Engineering admission will be held on May 10 and 12, 2018. Only those candidates will be considered eligible who have passed their UG engineering and pharma courses. The qualifying candidates of the exam will be granted admission in M.E, M.Tech and M.Pharma, offered by the state colleges and universities.
The last CET will be for Physical Education Common Entrance Test. Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) will conduct the AP PECET 2018 on May 04, 2018 onwards. Only those candidates will be eligible for the admission in courses of U.G.D.P.ED who have passed intermediate or equivalent courses as stated by Andhra Pradesh government and for B.P.ED candidates must have passed degree as decided by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
AP CETs are state level entrance exam conducted annually. The CETs are conducted by separate bodies and for the admission in UG or PG course. In order to apply for the exam, students are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria. The application form for all the CETs will be released online, on the official website of the exam. The candidates will be able to access the official website of any AP CET from http://www.sche.ap.gov.in.
