The University of Allahabad has released the UG/PG application form 2021 for all the eligible candidates on allduniv.ac.in. The application form filling is going to commence from today i.e. September 11, 2021, and will remain open until October 03, 2021. The candidates aspiring to apply for any course should go through the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
The official website is down as of now, but once it starts working the candidates can fill their respective application forms.
As per the notice released, the entrance exam for all the courses viz. BA,B.Com. B.SC, MA and M.COM etc is scheduled to be held in the second week of October 2021. The test can be conducted in either online or offline mode as decided by the concerned authorities. The candidates can fill the application form online by visiting the official website allduniv.ac.in or aupravesh2021.com.
The candidates applying for UGAT must have passed the 10+2 exam in the prescribed subjects from a recognised board. At the same time, eligibility for PGAT courses is passing graduation in the respective subject from a recognized university or college.
The entrance exam UGAT is anticipated to be 2 hours long with 150 questions from the subject mentioned on the brochure applicable for the course opted; with a marking scheme of +2. The PGAT 2021 exam is likewise expected to also have 150 questions accounting for 300 marks. Out of 150 questions, the first fifty questions will be from logical reasoning and mental ability, GA, English and Hindi and the remaining hundred questions will be based on the subject opted by candidates in the last year of graduation.
The entrance exam will be conducted in cities including Lucknow, Varanasi, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, Patna, Bhopal, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Guwahati, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram. In all centers except those in UP, Patna, New Delhi, the exam will be only online.
Once the entrance exam is over, the candidates will be called for the counselling round as conducted by the authorities. Therein the authorities will cross-check the documents submitted by the candidates. Upon successful verification of the documents, the candidates will be provided admission on the basis of seat availability in the college preferred by the candidates.
