Association of Indian Mangement Association (AIMS) has revised the ATMA 2019 Exam Date for May Session. The notification for the change in exam date is available on the official website, atmaaims.com. Previously, the test was supposed to take place on 19 May but it was clashing with the Lok Sabha elections. So, in view of this, the exam date has been preponed by one day.
As per the new schedule, the ATMA 2019 Exam will be held on May 18, 2019. Apart from this, there have been no changes in the exam schedule. With the updated timetable, candidates must make the arrangements accordingly. The exam will be held in one slot between 2 PM to 5 PM. All the test takers are required to reach the test centre by 1 PM.
AIMS Test for Management Admission (ATMA) conducts for admission to MBA or PGDM courses. The computer-based test takes place five times a year. The scores of the examination are accepted at more than 200 high ranking institutes in India. So, candidates interested in applying for ATMA can register for its May session. The registration and fee payment is open until 10 May.
While applying for ATMA 2019, candidates have to complete the registration and fee payment first. In there, applicants have to upload the photograph and identity proof in the proper format. The size should be 20kb-50kb and 50kb-100kb respectively. Fill the rest of the details and submit the exam fee. There is 25% and 50% fee concession for women and northeastern candidates respectively.
Thereafter, candidates can move forward to fill the application form. The last date to submit the completely filled form is 12 May. In the ATMA 2019 Application Form, candidates have to fill personal, contact, test city centre preference, qualification, and preferred institutes dates. Applicants are required to take the print out of the submitted form. The last date to do the same is 13 May.
The admit card for ATMA 2019 May session will be issued on 16 May. Candidates will able to download it using the PID and password. Also, there will be no provision to change the venue of the exam. In order to prepare for the exam, test takers must stick to the exam pattern. For better preparation, mock test and sample papers can be practised which are available on the official website. In the exam, there will be 180 questions need to be attempted in 180 minutes. The paper is divided into three sections naming Analytical Reasoning, Verbal and Quantitative Skills. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
After the conduction of exam, AIMS will release the ATMA 2019 Result on 24 May. Candidates will able to check it using the login credentials. Further, the scores can be used to take admission to the colleges accepting ATMA scores. Some of the colleges that accept the exam scores are JBIMS, Delhi School of Business, IRMA, etc.
